Grant Guidelines
The JCPC Family Foundation grants to non-profit organizations that qualify under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The focus of the Foundation
primarily is to provide funding to organizations involved in community art programs. Grants are made on a selective basis to organizations where voting members of the Foundation reside. Currently those areas of focus are
St. Louis, MS; Boulder, CO; Charleston, SC; and Buncombe/Haywood Counties, NC.
The JCPC Foundation awards grants in the field of Arts and Cultural interests. Grants are primarily made to support programming in the areas of education, outreach, accessibility for under resourced populations. The Foundation generally does not make grants in support of general operating income, debt reduction, brick and mortar needs or Individuals.

Applying
Thank you for your interest in the JCPC Family Foundation grants program. Please follow these guidelines for applications.

Applications are due at the start of our Grant Cycle beginning the 30th of June each calendar year.

Application forms must be completed and received by the end of business on June 30th.

Decisions regarding requests received in the current grant cycle will be communicated by mid September.

Awarded Grants will be funded as soon as a signed acceptance letter is returned to the foundation.(These letters are generally emailed to the grantee by early to mid September.

Grant reporting is an important way for the Board of Directors to stay connected to your work, community needs and best practices. We ask that you submit
reports by the date indicated in your grant award
